DJ Klever aka Josh Winkler was born on the fourth of July in 1977, the son of famous blues musician, Juke Joint Johnny. Josh distinctly recalls going to his father’s shows at a young age and listening him jam out on the harmonica. At the tender age of four, he received his very first drum set, a “manimall” Muppet Show kit that he practiced playing until the skins busted.
Josh spent most of his adolescence like any all-american kid: baseball, grinding curbs, and eating apple pie. He lived to sneak out at night and hit Atlanta’s local skate spots where he caught a healthy reputation for his competitive spirit and pushing big tricks.
At the age of sixteen, Josh’s competitive passion for both tricks and music met the almighty turntable and Klever was born. Growing up with a hip hop background, Klever studied djs like Premier, Cash Money, Afrika Bambaataa and Jazzy Jeff for their mixing and scratching arrangements.
In 1997, Klever started competing in every local competition possible where he began practicing with the Third World Citizens - Faust, Shorty, Shotgun, Craze, and T-Rock. In 2000, Klever seized the national DMC championship title and while at the international DMC competition, he was inducted into the world famous Allies crew, which consisted of renowned turntablists Craze and A-Trak. He began traveling the globe a lot with Craze. Shortly after, the two released the cult classic “ Scratch Nerds.” Klever began to produce prominent break record’s for battle djs and producers. In 2001, Klever successfully defended his national DMC title. He then represented the states in London for the international title. Later that year, he also won the national ITF title in San Francisco.
Beyond his accredited mastery as a turntablist, Klever has developed a healthy reputation as “tomorrows dj”. Klever has established his name throughout the dj circuit for his crowd-roaring routines and mix sets. Being born and raised an ATLien, his signature style (on and off the decks) moves crowds in every direction from his roots of crunk, booty, and hip hop to the sweaty sounds of electro, dance-rock, b-more, new-wave, hard rock, and anything worthy to make you rock with finesse.
In the past 5 years, Klever has been performing his signature sets non-stop around the world (Taiwan, England, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Australia, Japan, etc). He consistently amazes crowds and party-goers from 60 to 60,000 at world renowned venues such as Miami’s Mansion, Amsterdam’s Paradiso, NYC’s Roxy and Irving Plaza, Fabric in London, and many more.
He has released several mix CDs obtaining notoriety from culture heavy hitters such as Turntable Lab and Tablist magazine. He also two immensely popular battle break records with DJ SHOTGUN (former dj for Goodie Mob), Dirty South Breaks and Get Crunk Breaks. He has also done remixes for Cool Kids, The Carps, Kill the Noise, Steed Lord to name a few.
Not only audibly, Klever’s skills have been featured in numerous DVDs: the film Scratch (a DJ documentary awarded at the Sundance Music Festival, A-Trak’s “Sunglasses are a Must”, Stanton’s – “Step-By-Step” (instructional), “Tableturn’s - A Great Day In Turntablism”, the 2000 & 2001 USA/World DMC Championships, the 2001 ITF USA Championships, 2002 & 2003 USA and JAPAN ALLIES Invitational All Star Beatdown, and the upcoming ALLIES (untitled) self produced DVD.
Klever is presently working on collaborative projects that encompass the street culture lifestyle through music art and fashion. Between touring nonstop and his dedicated lab time, Klever is the dj to watch.

Born and Raised on Vancouver Island, Fitch has had plenty of time to study the local music scenes and find what makes the local crowd go nuts. When he was 12 years old Fitch found his grandmas old record players. Hooking each record player up to a separate stereo, Fitch had his first DJ set up. Over the next few years Fitch started to DJ at Raves and House Parties until he turned 18 and moved to Alberta to start in the clubs. Playing multiple residencies and club events over his two year tour of Alberta, Fitch made a name for himself with his unique mixing and live mashups. Remixing on the fly and playing the dirtiest in Electro-House mixed with Top 40, Rock, Hip Hop, and Dubstep, Fitch’s sets appeal to a wide range of audiences and leaves them begging for more. Feeding off the ecstatic energy of the crowd, Fitch adapts his mixing style and music to the type of venue and crowd - always offering a unique experience every time he visits. Wanting to broaden his horizons Fitch started to produce house music and released multiple original tracks, pulling inspiration from some of his favourite artists such as Lazy Rich, Soulfix, Porter Robinson, Zedd, Hirshee, and many more. Releasing over 10 singles including remixes of Rihanna, Daft Punk, Black Eyed Peas, and Deadmau5. Rocking the Victoria scene for the past 2 years, Fitch has started to grow popularity with the locals and is due to start his residency at two of the hottest clubs over the summer. Over the past 18 months Fitch has used his talents to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society by putting on 7 fundraisers at various clubs in Victoria and is planning for more in the future.
Jesse aka Da 1 Like Damaja, also producing and performing as neur0mancer and DJ Demonseed, fell in love with electronic music, and jungle especially, while attending his first rave in 1994 in Toronto. He started DJing in 1996 with a radio show on Seneca College’s campus radio station, mentored by DJ Marty McFly, and producing in 1998. His first track, “Brown Is A Clown”, was a jungle remix of Bob Marley’s “Mr. Brown”. Since then, he’s produced a range of breakbeat hardcore, gabber, ambient, deep minimal techno, house and acid house, and psytrance, published through his own label, DNE Productions, founded in 1996. Since 2002, he’s shifted his focus to live performance, performing house, techno, breaks, psytrance, hard trance, ambient, and other styles.
I have only been DJing for a year now, however have played shows at Spirit Bar and the Royal on Baker in Nelson BC and The Element Club in Castlegar BC. I have opened for Timothy Wisdom, Rococode, Ryan Wells, Cass Rhapsody, as well as closed 3 nights myself. I am really fresh on the scene, but deliver a high energy, fun, exciting performance. I am very passionate about electronic music, and have started producing my own. I realize I don’t have very much to go on here, but hopefully you enjoy my mix, as it gives a good idea of what to expect of my performance. The mix is a live recording. Thanks so much for your time, and best of luck with your festival!
I’m the guy behind East Van Digital & Fresh Baked DJs…been dropping tunes since ’98 and have been a Shambhala resident DJ since ’04, having played many a memorable set in the legendary Fractal Forest. For 3 years I hosted The Shakedown radio show and with the Liquidbeat collective, helping to produce some of the B.C. interior’s most inspiring parties. Currently, I’m a resident DJ with Intimate Productions, who maintained the long running night SiGNAL Saturdays at the former Lotus Sound Lounge in Vancouver.
I play what I think is best for the moment; I’m a pretty obsessive collector of music with a deep library and a fond love of programming. Bassline. Breaks. Disco Punk. Electro. Fidget. Funky House. Jump Up. Minimal. Tech House. Techno. Trip Hop. Vinyl, cd’s, Ableton, Serato…I use them all. In a Fresh Baked DJs live set, you can expect to hear me remixing on the fly, triggering samples, tracks, loops and adding live synth to the mix, blending elements of Bassline, Electro, Fidget & House.

Founded in Sun Peaks, British Columbia in 2011, Two half robot minds collided, one as a student, one as a teacher, to create an earthquake-like energy. D-FUNKT, (Koric) holding 25+ years of musical experience of all kinds, shared the art of mixing music digitally with newcomer DJ CRASCOURSE (Lange). Shortly after passing on the skill of mixing and partyrocking, D-FUNKT & CRASHCOURSE as a duo, began playing live dj events together. It wasn’t before long that the energy created by these two started becoming more and more ridiculous and entertaining. After multiple shows played together, a few beers, and a couple smashed ideas, “Perv ‘Stache” was born. “It’s always nice to see the DJ’s dancing as hard as the party people on the dancefloor..” is something that’s said and appreciated about Perv ‘Stache. These two electronically influenced men are here to deliver straight goods, laughs, witty punchlines, and so much bass it would make any fisherman jealous. If your opportunity comes up to party with these two sleeze machines, grab them a drink, flash them a smile and a high five…you’ll be friends forever. You might even get to go for a ride in their van after the show…..
A technical artist, who unabashedly unleashes build-ups and bass lines that tear dance-floors to pieces, Marlee is not afraid to go toe-to-toe with the world’s best. A diverse little power house, Marlee fought her way to the top of BCs underground scene. She’s held several residencies including Sunset Room and Lucky Bar. She’s played alongside some of the worlds finest artists (Chris Liberator, Donald Glaude, DJ Dan, Jelo, Starkillers, Simply Jeff, Uberzone, John Howard). It is not uncommon to hear her seamlessly weld several different styles into one set. The results are a wicked down-right dirty romp through the electronic music world. Her numerous television appearances on MTV and A-Channel have thrown more fuel on the fire as Marlee, over 10 years into her DJ career, only seems to gain momentum. Professional party heads - prepare to get thumped…
Using strange techniques and savage track selection, Mr. Majestic’s sets are often a bizarre event, resulting in complete mayhem. He’s been pinned as one to watch in the near future showcasing interesting mixes and swaps between genres in his unpredictable sets.
with 3 years of experience on the tables, Mr Majestic is a very technical Dj that throws down a combination of Electro, Dubstep and Disco in an manner that can only be described as “Devastating”. With the intentions of mass destruction to dance-floors everywhere, there’s no stopping Mr. Majestic’s onslaught for global domination
For these two young bassheads(spaceheads?) Dubstallion & Pinktaco from Calgary, Alberta. Turntables fell from the sky and without question they accepted the task of
spreading the sounds of the deep, dark, twisted, dirt’ riddims. With massive amounts of THC and alcohol consuming their bloodstream, they always
appear half drunk but don’t be fooled by these two, they keep it dirty yet simple, and the club bouncing all night.
With only one and a half years of experience, Dubstallion & Pinktaco are only progressing without limitations, soon to be followed by massive releases by
the SQUAD themselves. Enough with the text, listen to the MUSIC @ http://soundcloud.com/squalidsquad/

Originally from Scotland, Dangamouse first discovered electronic music while still in high school, listening to underground mix tapes from the likes of Dj Hype, Citadel of Kaos, Luna C & The Prodigy he fell in love with the breakbeat sound. Scraping up enough money to buy his first set of turntables at age 15 he cut his djing teeth on the hardcore & jungle sounds of the early nineties. Sticking to his breakbeat roots DM progressed into Drum n Bass & Nu Skool Breaks. Then around 2003 a brand new sound called Dubstep caught his ear & he has been experimenting with low bass frequencies ever since. Never one to be pinned down to just one genre Dangamouse draws on his years of expierience to bring an eclectic mix of bass heavy beats to any dance floor.
Dangamouse spent many years organizing events in his home town of Glasgow, including being involved with the city’s legendary ‘Camouflage Parties’ & his own seminal breakbeat night ‘Tongue n Groove’ as well as hosting radio shows on Subcity & NuskoolBreaks.com.
In 2006 Dangamouse re-located to Vancouver where he can be heard destroying sound systems accross BC & the US on hold up in the studio working on beats & mixtapes. Catch him live on www.konflict-radio.com, every Saturday at 6pm (PST) & at Shine nightclub as a resident for Whatever’s Dope Wednesdays.
DJ Yid-Yad is an alter-ego of Dub Gnostic, who has DJ’d for over 20 years in BC, Ontario, the US and UK. Under the Yid-Yad moniker, the sounds of Klezmer, Balkan and Middle Eastern world musics are woven into a festive blend of techno, house and breaks.
Performance and music have been a part S.K.Bass’ life for as long as she can remember. By age 7 she was performing in piano recitals and musical theater in her hometown of Duncan BC. To this day S.K.’s passions remain the same. She spends her days working in Canada’s television industry, and her nights blowing up speakers around BC’s club and party scene.
In the past two years, S.K. has played in numerous venues across the mainland and Vancouver Island, held down a residency called BASSLINES at Lick Club in Vancouver and had a weekly timeslot on a British webradio station where she was both the sole female DJ and only Canadian.
S.K.Bass’ sets are focused on danceability. If she doesn’t get you moving, no one will. She fuses oldschool throwbacks with fresh, cutting-edge stormers that will fill any dancefloor. Don’t be surprised if she tears out some classic dance hits or booty bass tracks from the 1990s either. S.K.Bass will always get the party started right, and quickly!
Doomwork may be summed up and identified in one single term: “unconventional”. Musically grown in the early years of the new millennium – when Italian dance had its point of apex- Alessandro and Claudio started to looking for darker sonority ; the path for the discovering of Detroit’s “Techno” music scene and its founders was short: Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Jeff Mills. Shortly after, their tin ear brought them to the so called “Big Beat” and its facets: Synth Rock, Funk, Hip Hop (Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Prodigy). At the same time they started to be interested into the Chicago House movement, born in the first half of the 80’s. Alessandro and Claudio decided collaborating together in 2008 and thus giving start to the Doomwork project. They soon reached the top of the Beatport chart, the famous reference portal of world modern club culture, with the song “Isla” first (two months n°1 in the deep house chart),and “Jazzy Stuff” then (two months n°1 in the general chart, resulting as the top selling record of 2009) and scoring again with “Groovin” (one month n°1 in the deep house chart, boasting one of the world deep house guru’s remix: Milton Jackson). In 2010 they are among the nominees of the Beatport Awards in the “the best deep house track” session, obtaining a second price with their track “Lost in memory”. All their productions constantly get positive feedbacks from the most important djs of the techno world scene as Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Karotte, 2000andOne, Radioslave, Satoshi Tomiee and many more. Their musical output brought them not only fame, but also drawn the attention of the biggest expertise of the international “scene” : Dylan Hermelijm (aka 2000andOne), chief of Planet Gong (one of the most estimate European organization), is one of them. He decided to remix and release the track “Andromeda” on the historic dutch techno label 100%PURE. The track went “on air” on BBC radio during Pete Tong broadcast “Essential Mix”, and then was released in the compilation “Wonderland” for Pete Tong’s label “Defected Records”, “Andromeda” thus became one of the most important project of the duo. Many of their works are included in the most important compilations : Space Ibiza comp. , Privilege Ibiza comp. , Cavo Paradiso “Definitons” vol. 10 (mixed by Satoshi Tomiee) , Campari Sunset ,released by Sony Music to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the famous drink. They have been performing in clubs all over the world since 2009; Air Club (Tokio) for the Redbull Master Night, Q Club (Zurich) , Tenax ( Florence), Goa (Rome), Elrow 14 (Barcelona), Bullit Club (Monaco), are only some of the clubs the duo perfomed in. Despite this intense working period, they managed to focus on their live set, a music container that ranges from “deep” and “techno”, “electro” and “house”, “prog” and “hip hop”, and brought to life their own musical purpose, in order to create a bond between the artist and the dance floor. The project immediately received positive feedbacks, and met the dancefloor during the “Amsterdam Dance Event 2010” where it can be brought to the audience in the setting of the famous “Studio 80” . Since then it became part of the “Saw Recordings” tour, Satoshi Tomiee and Hector Romero’s label. At the end of a busy 2010, the 2011 seems to be hectic either, with the launch of their own label “Retouch Recordings”, with the new projects that seem to be more important than the previous years, a new 100%PURE release and the debut on “Audiomatique”, Steve Bug’s label (Trentemoller latest album was released on the same label, just for the record), and together with their first concept album soon to be made, we’ll hardly see them enjoying a cocktail

A true pioneer, Jesse Rose is responsible for twisting the template of house music as we know it. Be it through his genre bending productions, DJ performances across the planet, remixing some of the biggest dance acts around (Major Lazer, Underworld, Simian Mobile Disco etc.), or as a label boss A&Ring; the freshest talent in electronic music, Jesse has one of the most revered profiles in the scene.
Born at the tail end of the 1970s in London’s Ladbroke Grove, as a young boy Jesse was raised on a healthy dose of Motown, soul, jazz and eighties funk. From humble beginnings, and with solid determination, Jesse began making music at the tender age of 14. Moving to Bristol in the early 90’s, he was soon DJing and running club nights together with his close friend Jamie Anderson, and quickly earned a reputation as an up and coming talent.
By 1997, Jesse was ready to make the move back to London, subsequently meeting the man that would truly change him from DJ to producer: Dave ‘Switch’ Taylor. Their first collaborations caught the eye of key Chicago house producer Derrick Carter, leading to a string of releases on his ‘Classic’ label. Jesse’s work on Switch’s ‘Dubsided’ saw the development of the house genre by mixing & dropping sounds from other genres instead of mere looping, resulting in some of his biggest hits such as ‘A-Sided’, ‘You’re All Over My Head’ and ‘Touch My Horn’. Jesse learnt his craft as a DJ with regular slots at London super club Fabric.
The year 2000 marked the inception of Jesse’s first label, ‘Front Room Recordings’, which has featured some of the most prominent names in dance music such as Henrik Schwarz & Solid Groove, and continues to present itself as a key house music label. His second label ‘Made to Play’, conceived in 2005, has turned into a powerhouse for unearthing and nurturing new talent, churning out hit records like Riva Starrs’ ‘I was drunk’ and making stars out of its artists. Jesse fashioned a distinct Balkan-style sub-genre of house adopted as the defining sound of Made to Play, influencing the likes of Yolada be Cool. Jesse brought this trademark off-kilter house sound to Berlin and beyond with global residencies at Panorama Bar (Berlin) The Social Club (Paris), Hive (Zurich), XOYO (London), Avalon (Los Angeles) and Womb (Tokyo), as well as to thousands of revelers at leading festivals around the world such as Creamfields, Parklife, Exit and Melt.
Jesse’s production prowess saw him produce Hot Chip in 2010 for their single entitled ‘Build a House’, the first ever production not tailored by the band themselves. 2010 also saw Jesse launch his third imprint; ‘Play it Down,’ which despite it’s no press approach is already getting some serious attention solely based on the merit of the music. Following the staggering popularity last summer of Jesse and Henrik Schwarz’s live tour project; ‘Black Rose’, a return assault is planned on the major festival circuit for summer 2011. The first Black Rose EP, aptly titled “Anthem’ will also drop on Made to Play in early 2011 and has already received Radio One’s ‘Essential New Tune’ accolade.
Continued international touring schedule aside, Jesse is using the European winter to turn his attentions to original productions, basing himself out of L.A, working on a new Jesse Rose album, producing acts and getting back into the studio with Dave “Switch” Taylor. He has also teamed up with super talent Noah Beriesin of Chiddy Bang fame on a new collaborative project, ‘Alphabet and Numbers’.
I really like to see people having a great time on the dance floor. I am so glad that I can be a part of that. ~ Charles Feelgood Point blank, Charles Feelgood loves music and even more, he loves sharing it with his fans. The man prides himself on his ability to connect with his audience – through a wicked combination of his exuberant personality and his exquisite ability to know what fills and keeps a dance floor pumpin’. His rise to dance music infamy dates back to his humble beginnings as the leading force behind the Baltimore / Washington DC electronic music scene. Alongside his partner, and fellow DJ, Scott Henry, Feelgood launched Fever, which for nearly a decade became one of the most sought after events for touring DJs from around the world. It was the days after starting Fever that Feelgood enhanced his reputation amongst those the international dance community. He parlayed his danceable brand of House music up and down the East coast and became renown for his creative ability to incorporate his love of 80’s music with a variety of different House styles into his sets. In the years that have followed, he has taken his talents to all ends of the earth – from North and South America to Russia and Asia, and everywhere in between. He has appeared at such seminal events as Coachella, and Lollapalooza, and has become a welcome fixture with Insomniac, Giant, and Karma Foundation. He also plays quite regularly in Los Angeles (Vanguard, Playhouse), San Francisco (Ruby Skye), and has been a part of the annual Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans for over a decade. Around the turn of the century, Feelgood moved from the familiarity of his East coast domain to sunny SoCal. Since the cross-county relocation he has become ensconced in the West coast scene and ramped up his production work. His initial popularity was assisted thanks in part to his legendary mixed series, “Time to Get Ill” and has continued to flourish though the release of remixes and singles such as “Hands,” “Aerobic Martini,” “Strobe Light,” and “Burnin”. He is a mainstay in the Top 100 on BeatPort and Top 10 on a number of other worldwide digital sites. In the past year Feelgood has had several releases on Major and Independent labels such as PornoStar, Instereo and Burn The Fire - remixing everything from Lady Gaga to P Diddy. I specialize in UK Bass music such as dubstep, garage, liquid funk, drum & bass. I am the founder of a music collective (Outersphere Recordings) that has the primary goal of building community in Victoria centered around dance music, primarily dubstep and drum & bass, as well as to positively support all existing music collectives in the city. I run two radio shows every week including one broadcasting out of the UK, and one from the University of Victoria (beginning July 9th). I have a large amount of instrumental music experience and my obsession is also my career choice. I am finishing my last six courses for a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Music, studying with some leading music technology researchers at the University of Victoria. I am also the founder and current president of the Computer Music Course Union at the university and intend on entering a Masters program in this field in the fall of 2012. I began performing primarily as a DJ this year as an opening act for Whitebird Events (www.whitebirdlifestyle.com), including “Propa Tingz” and “Grasp the Erro” at Hush Nightclub. Following the event, I was featured in a review by Victoria’s bass music blogger “Dub Selekta” (www.dubselekta.com). In November 2010, I was booked to provide music for a Whistler, BC snowboard company named Voleurz to support their promotional video tour (www.voleurz.ca). This event took place at Sugar Nightclub and was a highly successful. The included artist photos depict this event. The company later invited me to play music for another one of their events in Whistler BC, based on the success in Victoria, but I was unable to make it due to academic commitments. Since these events, I have filled the role as an in-house DJ at Whitebird Lounge, substituting for Sub|Division’s DJ Rhythmicon on several occasions. I have also performed as a DJ at many more informal events. References are available for all or any previous events upon request. I have been told to encourage promoters to contact these references as a result of my performances.

Solomon Potashnick’s sets are ever changing and always surprising. Recently introducing a 3rd turntable to his performance the goal being to take you on a musical journey through many styles of tastefully selected dance music. The result? An epic audio experience for all who partake!
At a young age, I was not interested in music. Like anyone else, I’d listen to the hits on the radio, but was never really inspired by what was popular. One day, at the age of 11, everything changed when I was gifted a magical burnt CD filled with all varieties of electro – from house to trance, from trance back to big beat. In that moment a lifelong quest was started to branch out and discover the very best of every genre. From there, it was only a matter of time before listening wasn’t enough – the need to create was growing within.
As a musician, I believe this passion has led to an eclectic, creative, and exciting style that cannot be accurately contained by any single genre. From one song to the next, I try to bring a new energy, a fresh angle, and a wicked vibe – all designed to tear the dance floor to shreds.

Ive been a bedroom dj for over two years now, going out and playing for crowds for about a year and a half, my sensai djs who have shown me the up and ups are skian, gary khan and walffulz.
Ive played twice at carrington music festival and have made a few trips to Tofino to play at some bars there, also any north island rave you can normally count me to be mixing at some point in the night.
Im fairly versatile in my style, If you check out my soundcloud ive made a small mix with just Nu-swing style music, but I normally play dubstep, electro house, glitch hop, and add a dash of funk in there
oh and DnB cant forget about DnB haha
So I would love it if you considered me to represent the north island for you!
Fronted by the enigma that is :DT:, a visceral crowd-mesmerizing vocal powerhouse capable of hypnotizing thousands of people and holding them in the palm of his outstretched hand, guiding them through the journey that is the Wordclock experience.
Backed by the entity known as Renfield, part man, part machine and possibly of alien origin. Little is known about Renfield, and what is known is rarely spoken out loud. He stands behind his wall of technology and ushers in the soundtrack too humanities utter destruction and de-evolution, setting it too a pulsing, pounding beat.
In short, Wordclock is explosive Post-Apocalyptic Cinematic Industrial music. They will show you the future, for this is 2012, the dawning of a new age, and the Wordclock is ticking like a timebomb, ready to explode.

So what’s a roots/singer songwriter have to do with Electronic music?
“I started dabbling with records and DJing back in 2003 when I was living in a little house by the beach. We’d have parties on the weekends and hire DJs, pack the place and dance all night ‘til the morning. After one of the parties, a DJ left his tables and two crates of vinyl in my kitchen for a week… so one night I set it all up and started playing. Its been a secret love of mine ever since.
I love the feeling of finding new tracks and creating new feelings through the music, its something that touches a side of live production I’ve yet to find while performing with my band. Its a whole new colour to paint with, and I’m loving the journey.”
Since an early age Frantiq has been interested in all things music and audio related, and he shares these passions whenever he can. The catalyst of this came when he discovered the art of DJ’ing through old school hip-hop DJ’s and turntablists. Soon after being introduced to the diverse world of electronic music the two became one and the same from then on.
Frantiq has been DJ’ing for events and dance floors throughout western Canada since 2000. In his mixes he takes the skills and techniques of turntablism and applies them to a wide and eclectic range of musical styles. Conscious of the vibe he carefully selects each tune and mixes them together with the care of a craftsman to blend music and sound to create a journey and new experience for his audiences. Expect to hear the unexpected as he shares everything good under the sun, arranged and mixed from the ears of one music lover to another (you).
After being inspired by the countless local events featuring local and international DJ’s, Matterson decided to take up the craft himself. Starting with the electro craze of the late ‘00 era, he first played parties for Sonica Late Nights and Westcoast Funktions where he learned much about the craft. As time moved forward, he started contributing to regional burning man events, growing into a more mature house sound in the process. Reaching into Funky, Jackin, Deep and Tech areas of House showcases his ever increasing development.

Host: Marshall A.
Description: Marshall A has been producing on-air Hip Hop shows for over 10 years at CFUV. His time at the station has driven him to become one of Victoria’s top concerts producers and DJ’s in Victoria’s nightlife scene. A unique personality driven by his love for music makes this show a must listen
Currently residing in Victoria, British Columbia, Antagonist is bringing a fresh take on the bass music scene, on both local and international scales. With a passion for sound design, he drives forth a unique blend of soft melodic textures and wild savage basslines like a tour de force. Now in his sophomore year as a producer, he has accumulated releases on multiple record labels, established a strong online fanbase, and gotten rotations and accolades from many of his peers and influences, including Excision, Numbernin6, DJ Sashwat, Mark Instinct, Cottonmouth, and many more.
Antagonist began his career in 2007 as a hip-hop artist, both producing for hire and to accompany his own lyrics. His prior knowledge in rhythm guitar and thrash metal found Antagonist’s productions influenced strongly by hostile tones and dark melodies. The ensuing search for a more aggressive sound lead him to leave ‘traditional’ hip-hop behind and focus on dubstep - which has recently expanded to include drum and bass, glitch hop, moombahton, and various other genres of ‘bass music’. His focus on combining the hard-hitting beats from rap music and the aggressive tones in metal, while adding hints of classical music and middle eastern flavours, are the driving force behind Antagonist’s unique sound.
With a well-established skillset in the studio, Antagonist is now naturally branching outwards to DJing. With priority set upon his original productions, he creates intelligent, multi-genre sets ranging from the deepest of deep to the most savage heavy basslines around. Whatever the style, wherever the venue, be prepared for a thorough soaking in sub bass!

Confident. Exuberant. Raw. Innovative. These are just a few of the words industry insiders and fans have used to describe the talent behind one of America’s favorite house DJs, Donald Glaude. Ranked #68 on DJMag.com’s Top 100 DJs List in 2005, Donald skyrocketed to #48 this year and his genius keeps on growing…
Born in Tacoma, Washington, Donald’s love for music began at an early age. Originally a disciplined student of classical music, he was well-versed in the upright bass and violin. Any aspirations Donald had to continue in the classical vein vanished once he heard his first house record. With an ear for blending music already under his belt, and a love for the energy and soul of musical prodigies like George Clinton and Funkadelic, Donald began to amass a collection of house records which he taught himself to mix with a pair of mismatched turntables and a Radio Shack mixer.
Before Donald few DJs had attempted to spin house records. Donald’s fine ear helped him give birth to a new style. After mastering his craft, Donald began DJing in various clubs around Tacoma and Seattle. During that time he made several important connections which would launch his music to the forefront of what was quickly becoming one of the largest underground movements since New Wave in the late-70s. Perhaps the greatest connection Donald made was with another aspiring DJ and friend, DJ Dan.
Together Donald & DJ Dan sparked the rave scene in Seattle and developed large followings. Knowing that Donald possessed an energy and ability to work the crowd that was unparalleled to anyone else on the circuit, Dan convinced San Francisco’s legendary Funky Tekno Tribe to bring down his good friend Donald to play at one of their parties. Donald’s talents quickly made him a permanent fixture on F.T.T.’s roster.
Some DJs seek commercial acceptance. Donald, on the other hand, has always preferred an emotional connection with his audience. For Donald, house music is not simply a mixed bag of sound, but rather an experience that provokes the soul. Apart from his mastery on the decks, Donald is best known for his dynamic showmanship. He enjoys his music as much as his audience does. Embracing their energy, it is not uncommon to find Donald pumping his hands in the air, jumping up and down and shouting back his love to the crowd. It is this powerful signature style which has led fellow DJ and musical producer, Dave Aude, to call Donald the “James Brown of DJs.” Donald also caused some stir in 2005 and 2006 with his residency at ICE Nightclub in Las Vegas.
Donald’s uncompromising style and innovation show no sign of slowing down any time soon. With the credit of 5 full-length CDs and numerous remixes under his belt, Donald has focused much of his time to production work. Producing such dance floor hits as “Get Up” and “Soul Cha Cha”. As such, Donald has launched two record labels in which are causing rumblings in the industry. Eden Recordings, started with fellow DJ Rick V, and Durty Records, a collaboration with good friend Vince Lombardi.
Donald’s 2005 release, “This is Me” (Moist Music), is a 35-track double CD that defines his creativity, sound and vibrant style. Since its release, Donald’s fans have been eager to hear what’s next from their favorite DJ. Fans will be pleased to know that Donald’s hard at work on another double CD, “For the People” (Moist Music), a live recording and original tracks produced by Donald himself. With the completion of this latest project, the world should be prepared to experience all sides of Donald Glaude: DJ. Producer. ARTIST.
Continuing to be “The Hardest Working American Dj” Donald has many new projects planned for this upcoming year. He has a tour scheduled with “America’s Most Beloved Dj” Dj Dan and he also has another new CD releasing in 2007. Also expect new release from both of his labels Eden Recordings and Durty Records. You have seen him use his musical talents from bring his experience in playing bass, percussion, violin and then moving on to the turntable just show us his grasp on music. To mastering the turntable and then on to recently turned Serato user always expect the unexpected when you come see Donald Glaude………
Elevenn Seraphim is a unique musical experience. It is a ferocious blend of dubstep, glitch and hiphop. Using the classic formula of DJ and turntables, Elevenn uses conscious darkness slathered on psyche shattering beats to save the masses from their bleak everyday lives. Seraphim is the result of a powerful individual finding the beauty in the struggle and using every watt to ravage every ear within range. Living on the edge in Victoria BC, she has been given a divine right to do this.
Elevenn is almost too much to deal with. As a DJ, she is personally responsible for ushering in the Dubstep scene in Calgary. Having found her soul in the sheer filth of Dubstep in 2006, while most other DJ’s were busy growing hair in strange new places, Elevenn made it her personal mandate to pwn the scene’s largest parties and give the kids something fresh. A skilled turntablist, with a true gift for reading the crowd’s energy, her sets leave people in a sweaty satisfied mess. Elevenn on the decks is a gothic dark empress with a soft touch and an iron fist. Dub chub may occur, be forewarned.
So this is 2011 and everybody better hold their ankles, cause the sky is about to bleed. The studio is up, the tables are spinning, the mic is armed and the volume is making doctors nervous. The album is coming. Seraphim is crafting a sound scape that even the Sandman couldn’t dream up. There are wet bibles and exploding pianos in the sample bank and that’s just the beginning. Elevenn is a talented producer and has been creating beats and honing her craft into excellence for the past few years. Keep your ears open as the process continues. But, oh no, don’t think that it stops there. Seraphim is taking this to your front door. Performing all over Pacific Northwest and internationally, know the name so you can stay up to date, I mean, who doesn’t want to have their face melted off?
Elevenn headlined alongside shows with other demigods such as: Caspa, Aquasky, Subvert, Benny Page, Excision, Ill-esha and DJ Swamp to name a few, and she’s rocked shows and festivals across the country, from Montreal to Victoria and everywhere in between. The experience is like no other. A new age is upon us. Hark, hear the Seraphim sing.
Toby Emerson’s beats and bass lines rumble low, underneath addictive hooks and grooves that are guaranteed to rock the club! A producer of elite quality; Toby’s music is meant to be felt as much as heard on the dance floor. His tracks expertly maneuver the musical space between big room electro, house and peak time progressive and have sold in excess of 45,000 copies worldwide! Packing such wicked weaponry, it is no wonder Mr. Emerson has releases on labels like Bug Eyed, Big Fish, System and Subversive. He has received airplay by Judge Jules, and is a featured artist of music software giant, FL Studio. That being said, 2011 is the year you have the opportunity to see one of the continents best party rockers at a club near you!
Toby’s best selling tracks have been given support by many of the Iconic names in DJing. His tunes have even been included on popular video games like Flash Flash Revolution, IDance and the upcoming Rerave for the Iphone. In addition to his stellar original and remix work, Toby also has three highly acclaimed sample packs that are used in heavy rotation by all the production gods including techno pioneer UMEK. (Check UMEK’s #1 Seller OMGWTF!) All three sample packs have received stunning reviews by computer music magazine.
A talented musician, who sometimes plays guitar and even sings lead vocal on his tracks(Check Never Comin Down!) Toby has had some help along the way. In 2007 he completed the recording arts program at the AI center for Digital Imaging and Sound in Vancouver, Canada. It was around that time that he would often share tips with another Canadian talent on the verge of stardom, Deadmau5. Toby would later utilize his honed skills to produce a stunning sonic reworking of Deadmau5’s Sofi Needs A Ladder. His remix would finish in the top ten of the official Beatport contest and was later given to fans for free.
A side project entitled The Afterschool Special was formed in 2008, as a collaborative with friend, and fellow electro head Jon-E Industry. This hugely successful partnering sparked Electro hits like “Full House” and “Big Money Jazz Hands,” that landed on the hugely successful Bug Eyed Records. Their continued success has brought forth a slew of support and remixes by big name artists including Calvertron, Electric Soulside and collaborations with Canadian favorite Robb G!
Toby Emerson is a great live performer who puts just as much into his live shows as his productions. During his live shows you can expect custom made remixes, edits, loops and the best in progressive, electro, house, techno and everything in between. Impeccable taste and a supernatural sense of what moves the crowd has proved Toby to be one of Western Canada’s top musical performers.
2011 is the year Toby is setting his sights on attaining new heights. He is gearing up to include a Canadian and Asian tour, in addition to an assault of media projects and releases all destined to top the charts. Included is his track Fall Silently with Christoph Maitland and vocalist Veela. Dropping on Audio Planet Recordings it has generated a massive buzz and will feature remixes work by Brazilian star Alex Mind. Also slated for 2011 is the inception of Toby’s own website selling his much sought after samples and synth patches for use in music production. So take note and be prepared to dance your ass off as one of North America’s best selling electronic artists touches down at a club near you.
Using strange techniques and savage track selection, Mr. Majestic’s sets are often a bizarre event, resulting in complete mayhem. He’s been pinned as one to watch in the near future showcasing interesting mixes and swaps between genres in his unpredictable sets.

With the intentions of mass destruction to dance-floors everywhere, there’s no stopping Mr. Majestic’s onslaught for global domination.

Later discovering a love for electronic music he has built on this live preformance and production background to bring a unique and energetic live show blending classic mixing techniques with hip hop turntabalism to provide a fresh take on the classic electro and house mixes.
Joshua has been in and around the Victoria electronic music scene for many years, both as a DJ and promoter, and more recently as a producer. Joshua infuses his infectious Progressive House grooves with layers of Techno and Tech House - his energetic dance floors are always packed and pumpin’. Joshua is a proud member of Sunset Labs, a musician and artist collective featuring AFK, Fractal, Toby Emerson, Christoph, Braeden and more. Olav creates a sonic experience with one half rolling, evocative, synthesized soundscapes, textures glimmering through light and dark passages and the complexity of the human voice; propelled by one half skittering, falter-funk 2 Step rhythms.
Start with the basics. Andrew “Shrew” Sherry (ADRWSHRY) is a prairie boy that shipped out to Vancouver Island the second his final exam was finished after high school. With a traveling lifestyle he found himself surrounded by musically influenced friends, and a knack for having a good time.
After becoming very good friends with local super star DJ Kenzie Clarke. Kenzie offered to teach Andrew the ropes and how to play music. After a short amount of time Andrew picked up his first gig and his favorite watering hole in Victoria (Lucky Bar), and has been up the up and coming ever since. ADRWSHRY has been quickly getting recognized as one of the new kids on the block. With a musical background and a taste for showing people a good time, he has quickly become known for his “Party Rock” DJ styles.
“Party Rock” - A term that has been chewed up and spit out to the world by our good friends LMFAO. When really it should be embraced. Two fun, yet technical terms that have been used over years, and years of debauchery. The term “Party Rock” can be used by any DJ who is able to genre flip, and mash the unthinkable. Constant fun, and utter excitement.
In just over a year of DJing Andrew has got himself a local residency at Lucky Bar for SOLID! Saturdays with Chris Longshanks (Monolithium) and is continuing to learn new styles and technical abilities from one of his DJ duos (Mr. Smith)
Having shared the stage with Young Guru, DJ Hedspin (RedBull 3 Style Champion), Skratch Bastid, Monolithium, The Freshest, and LA Riots. ADRWSHRY has hopes of continuing to grow that list and learn more from everyone.
The best way to put it..
No Genres - Just Good Music

Currently he holds down a residency at Switch Saturdays @ The Red Room and is producing his own tracks. Chord’s philosophy is simple: play good music. His style flows through deep dub and minimal to house and techno—a slow burn of building rhythms accelerating into a smouldering bass climax. Moving from making killer mixed tapes for friends to playing records for local parties, his easygoing demeanour continues to engage audiences at clubs, festivals, and on his weekly web radio broadcast DUB:fuse (dub.ca). Chord’s DJ sets return focus to the music as its own spectacle, with intuitively constructed sets that play out with a constrained and powerful force. His influences range from early dub, ambient, stripped-down minimal, jackin’ house, and ground-shaking techno.
As half of the production team OVERCAST SOUND, he has played live sets at international shows including in Berlin, the Biennial of the Americas, MUTEK, and the upcoming inaugural Aguilar Dubtechno Festival in the south of France (September 2011).

He currently hosts ‘Plan Your Sunday’ at Subeez in Vancouver. DJ Plans style is a blend of genres including hip hop, club, dancehall, rock and house music with a bent towards baltimore and ghetto tech. He loves to party and is equally at home behind the decks at a wedding, nightclub or warehouse party…...

One part Palletz, One part MrMacHimself, Two parts turntables, Add Endless Library of Mindblowing Music, You Get “The GoodfellaZ”
The Goodfellaz have started 2012 out with a huge BANG. Every show these boys have thrown down has had the crowd flying out off their ass to hit the floor. Being brought up in the Vancoucer Island electronic music scene, these two artists both started their musical journeys with the devastating bass that the Island brings. With 20+ years of music experience between the two of them, brings a whole new musical massacre when they take over the decks.
Already having opened for some big names individually such as Yan Zombie, Stylust, Emotionz, JADA, Kill The Noise, Czech & together opening for names like Mark Instinct (Rottun), You are bound to see these guys playing alongside some huge names in the future!
With Palletz deriving from heavy side of the spectrum with Dubstep, DnB, and Electro, and MrMacHimself hailing from Electro House, Breaks, and Fidget, these two never fail to get the entire crowd outta their seats and tearing up the dancefloor with their bangin’ style and fierce one on one battles they bring out to every show! Spending 2011 playing all kinds of parties and festivals, getting signed with various local labels, these boys have definately been proving that they will make 2012 a super busy & exciting year. With 2012 starting out heavy, they have been destroying the club, hitting the scene hard rocking crowds wherever they go!!
My name is Andrew Sherry, I am 24 years of age. Music, and musical instruments have always been a huge part of my life. Electronic music has always fascinated me with it’s rapid evolution, and out of this world sounds, and capabilities.
In 2010 I was fortunate enough to have been apprenticed by my dear friend DJ Kenzie Clarke. I quickly caught the hang of it and was immediately addicted. I had my first gig within 4 months of stepping behind the tables at Lucky Bar, opening for BUSTA, and MR. Smith.
Over the past year I have played quite a few a gigs in Victoria, Vancouver, and Whistler. Some memorable gigs over the past year have been, The media club in Vancouver, 919 opening for LA Riots, holding down NYPD(Thursdays) at Lucky Bar for 3 months, Maple room for blackout at the Strath, OH GREAT Mondays with Wax, MR Smith vs the Shrew episodes at Lucky Bar on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
From Disco, Breaks, Electro, House, Dubstep and DNB I love it all and have a knack for knowing what the crowed wants to hear. You can expect to keep your feet moving, head banging and have the urge to want more.
My future plans for djing are to continue to enjoy it, and learn. I would like to increase the amount of shows that I play out of town, and will be starting to take over Friday Evenings, and Saturday Evenings at Lucky Bar with Chris Longshanks.
